From Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez Desk – Hosted our Summer Movie Night Screening of “Sponge Bob: Sponge on the Run”
On Friday, August 13, 2021, we hosted our Summer Movie Night screening of “Sponge Bob: Sponge on the Run,” at the Hansen Dam Aquatic Center – the largest municipal pool in the country. Families had a great time watching the movie in the water and enjoyed inflatable games.
Join us for our second Summer Movie Night on Friday, August 20, 2021. We will be screening the Grease movie. There will be a lot of fun family activities including food trucks, and inflatable games. Activities will start at 6:30 PM and the movie starts at sundown. Remember to bring your sunblock, beach chairs, and blanket. See you there!
COVID protocol will be in place including mandatory masks (when not in the pool) and social distancing. To ensure space for social distancing the capacity limit will be lowered and entrance is first come, first served. COVID vaccines and testing will also be provided and 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬.
