Sadly our community was among the hardest hit as a result of the pandemic. Angelenos may be eligible to receive $1,000 a month for a year. The BIG: LEAP program will provide $1,000 a month for 12 months to approximately 3,000 eligible Angelenos. The application opens from Friday, October 29th to Sunday, November 7th.

As part of our annual tradition in the Northeast San Fernando Valley, we will have altars, local vendors, community resource booths, a Catrina contest, and a full day of live music, food trucks, and a digital photo display to remember loved ones that have passed. From Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez Desk – COVID-19 Financial Recovery Program, $5,000 Grants are Available

Attention Small Businesses! Applications open tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, for the $25M “Comeback Checks” COVID-19 financial recovery program. $5,000 grants are available for 5,000 small businesses located and operated within the City of Los Angeles. Grant recipients will be selected through a weighted lottery process, with final award recommendations based on the availability of funds, program guidelines, submission of all required information, and supporting documentation.
