Karan had reached out to us last year for assistance with her unemployment benefits when she was facing challenging circumstances.

Through my district team’s intervention, she was able to have her benefits settled out. This later led her to launch into a new career path and mark onto the next milestone of her career.

I want to express my gratitude to the small businesses in #AD39 in honor of National Mom and Pop Business Owner Day!

I am privileged to recognize the following small businesses for their contributions to the San Fernando Valley. Lenchitas in Pacoima, Ranch Side Cafe in Lake View Terrace, and El Nayarit in San Fernando have serviced their communities for over 20 years. All three of these small businesses have created a strong reputation in the community by providing excellent service to their customers.

Reminder – Applications for the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program are due March 31 at housingiskey.com. Once an application has been successfully processed, both the landlord and renter will be notified of the next steps.
