From Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez Desk – CARE+ Comprehensive Maintenance Services along Foothill Blvd.

Recently CARE+ provided outreach and comprehensive maintenance services along Foothill Blvd., in Sylmar. In partnership with Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment, we stored personal property and removed trash that was obstructing the public right-of-way next to recreational vehicles. Through these efforts, LADOT Official removed an unhitched trailer from the street. Our sanitation and parking enforcement team will continue to work with the vehicle dwellers experiencing homelessness and provide services to them.

A special in memoriam acknowledgment for Cindy Sower, who did so much incredible work for the Valley while she was still with us.

During our recent community drive, my team identified a City trash bin that was set on fire in Pacoima. My team reported it to MyLA311 and Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment (LASAN) quickly replaced it. Keeping our community clean takes teamwork.
