The LA Regional COVID-19 Fund is accepting applications for round 3 of funding — $3 million in grants are available. Micro-entrepreneurs are eligible to receive $5,000 and small businesses and 501(c)(3) nonprofits are eligible to receive $15,000. There are 6 rounds of funding with finalists notified each round.
• Microentrepreneurs receive $5,000
• Small businesses receive $15,000
• 501(c)(3) non-profits receive $15,000
If not selected this round, applicants are encouraged to continue applying for future funding. The fund’s website is available in four languages and applications are available in 15 languages.

Earlier this week, I heard from seiu-uhw members like Josie, Aida, and Alma from #AD39 on how the shortage of #PPEs in health care settings left our health care workers, essential workers, patients, and their families without the necessary protection from #COVID19. I voted in support of #SB275 to ensure our #healthcareheroes, #essentialworkers, #patients, and #communitymembers are all protected during this pandemic by creating a stockpile and supply chain of PPEs.
