On Saturday, August 28, 2021, MRod Volunteer Corps was in Pacoima. We cleared debris, illegal dumping, and completed beautification projects such as weed abatement to improve the area resulting in 12 tons of bulky items, and debris being removed. In partnership, Caltrans and Chrysalis provided information for volunteers interested in paid transitional employment opportunities.

Together, we can sustain the cleanliness of our neighborhoods. I invite you to join me and your neighbors to be part of the solution by joining an upcoming cleanup, picking up litter in your own neighborhood, and reporting issues like illegal dumping to MyLA 311.
