Arnie has been managing Arnie’s Coffee N Cruise for approx. 3 years now. Arnie’s Coffee N Cruise is a family business with his mom and wife helping run the business and his sister taking care of the paperwork. Arnie has time to participate and give back in the community. He is politically active and a vocal participant when it comes to advocating for safer business community.

Arnie is the 1st VP of the Sunland Tujunga Chamber of Commerce, he is part of the Community Police Advisory Board and a Safety Advocate.

Arnie’s Coffee N Cruise was a Gold Sponsor at the 1st Honorary Mayor and Awards Banquet with Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra, Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, and Senator Anthony Portantino attending.

Starting this Sunday, April 19th, Metro will run a “Modified Sunday Schedule” seven days a week. Metro will continue to provide bus and rail service to every community. Buses and trains will run every 12 minutes between 6 am – 6 pm, and every 20 minutes at other times. The last train will leave at midnight. Metro has also stepped up its efforts to ensure buses and trains stay safe and clean: installing sanitation stations and sanitizer dispensers at major transit stops, increasing the cleaning schedule at major transit hubs, and requiring all riders to wear face masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. City’s Executive Task Force on Youth Development

This pandemic day-lighted what we already knew — youth are under-invested in our city. COVID-19 won’t hinder our resolve to engage in this conversation and deliver for the youth of Los Angeles.

I’m pleased to announce that the City’s Executive Task Force on Youth Development held its first meeting via teleconference this week. The Task Force was established through a motion I introduced which aims to implement a Citywide youth development strategy.

Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez - Serve as Chair of the Upper LA River and Tributaries Working Group and Lead in the Planning

I’m proud to serve as Chair of the Upper LA River and Tributaries Working Group and lead in the planning of quality environmental and recreational opportunities that our communities deserve. This week, we adopted a revitalization plan that will provide a framework to expand open space in park-poor areas throughout Los Angeles County.

The plan brings long-overdue attention to the often ignored upper portion of the LA River, and will help reverse decades of haphazard development that left this region without adequate green space.
