The Los Angeles City Department of Public Works is holding a career fair tomorrow to help fill city positions! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the various employment opportunities in Public Works.

The Career Fair will take place tomorrow from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Los Angeles Tech Trade College—whether it rains or not.

Don’t forget to take a copy of your resume! Same-day interviews will be conducted for some positions.

My priority is to ensure we plan for and attempt to incorporate mitigation efforts that will center the needs of residents, businesses and the environment.

ICON CDC offers an array of business workshops along with one-on-one consulting services to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in the areas of business planning, financial management, certification, procurement, credit counseling, marketing, social media, human resources, and licensing/permitting.

Today is Small Business Saturday, and the

I know that many families live with food insecurity in our communities.

It’s why, with the support of my dedicated team and community partners, I distributed turkeys and sides on Tuesday to 500 families in need from Council District 7.
This annual tradition is among my favorites because in spite of the challenges we’ve endured, it’s a reminder of how we all get to carry each other through our most difficult times and remain, ONE LA.
