Last year, as part of my effort to shift the culture of fireworks use, I partnered with the
LAPD Headquarters Mission Division and Los Angeles Fire Department to pilot the city’s first-ever Fireworks Buyback Program. The program resulted in over a quarter ton of fireworks being turned in.
We are hosting the City of Los Angeles’ second annual fireworks buyback on:
Saturday, July 2, 2022
9 AM to 1 PM
15121 South Brand Boulevard
Mission Hills, CA 91345
You will be able to drop off any unwanted aerial, maximum charge, explosives, finales, and dangerous fireworks in exchange for a free gift. Please transport the fireworks in your trunk.
For more information, please call my Sylmar District Office at (818) 756-8409, Pacoima District Office at (818) 485-0600, or Sunland-Tujunga District Office at (818) 352-3287.
