K-12 Schools Identify Homeless Children

California’s homeless youth population is large and growing: A recent study found that the state’s homeless student population has increased by nearly 50% over the past decade.

My bill, #AB27, will help K-12 schools identify homeless children and provide services to their families. EdSource ran a great piece highlighting the need for my legislation.

I urge the Governor‘s signature on my bill so that we can get to work and help our homeless children. #CALeg
