The LA Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) Citywide Aquatics Division will host its first annual World Autism Awareness Water Safety Pool Party. This city-wide event will take place at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Aquatic Center on Sunday April 2, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM.
This event will include several engaging activities for kids with disabilities, including a group swim lesson, water safety lessons, paddle boarding, kayaking, music and more!
Join RAP for a fun, inclusive and safe environment for all participants that sheds light on the need for water safety education in the autistic community.
