From Assemblymember Luz Rivas Desk – Plastic Pollution Producer Responsibility Act has Passed the Assembly Floor

The nation’s boldest plastic reduction legislation (Plastic Pollution Producer Responsibility Act) has passed the Assembly Floor with bipartisan support. I’m proud to be a Joint Author of SB54 and to have presented this bill tonight!

This bill now moves to the Senate for concurrence. I appreciate the fearless efforts of our environmental organizations, businesses, and waste management groups.
