Tonight marks the first night of Hanukkah, which celebrates the triumph of light over darkness. To those who celebrate: may this festival bring blessings to you and your family.
I also want to take a moment to, once again, condemn hate in all its forms. There is no place in Los Angeles for hate or bigotry of any kind, and we must all speak out against anti-semitism when it happens.
