From Assemblymember Luz Rivas Desk – Report a Lost or Stolen MCTR Debit Card, by Calling Money Network

#Update: The last round of the Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) was distributed to eligible Californians on January 14th. The California Franchise Tax Board began distributing the MCTR on October 2022. The refund was a one-time payment to provide relief to eligible Californians.

Eligible Taxpayers who e-filed their 2020 CA tax return and received their CA tax refund by direct deposit may have received a direct deposit payment. Some taxpayers received their payment on a MCTR debit card which was sent by mail to remaining eligible taxpayers.

If you need to report a lost or stolen MCTR debit card, you may report it by calling Money Network at 1 (800) 240-0223. They are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Information on eligibility requirements are available here: https://www.ftb.ca.gov/…/middle-class-tax…/index.html….

Please feel free to contact my district office at (818) 504-3911, if you have any further questions about the Middle Class Tax Refund.
