From Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez Desk – Our Second Annual Fireworks Buyback on July 2

Last year, as part of my effort to shift the culture of fireworks use, I piloted the city’s first-ever Fireworks Buyback Program. The program resulted in over a quarter ton of fireworks being turned in.

Today, I was joined by LAPD Headquarters and LAFD announcing our second annual fireworks buyback.
