From Assemblymember Luz Rivas Desk – Identify the Number of UnHoused Students in the State

We’ve known for years that California has enough homeless students to fill Dodger Stadium five times over, and that’s why I authored AB 27 last year.

I am proud to have been able to get this bill signed into law. With AB 27’s implementation already underway, we will be able to more accurately identify the number of unhoused students in the state and connect them and their families with the critical services they need.
