From Assemblymember Luz Rivas Desk – Barona Education Grant to Richard Byrd E. Middle School

This past September, I had the opportunity to recognize Richard Byrd E. Middle School with the Barona Education Grant from the Barona Band of Mission Indians. This grant was given to help update the school’s library collection with approximately 250 new books.

I’m happy to share that yesterday, the school library received their first shipment of books that they purchased with Barona Education Grant! Congratulations Richard E. Byrd Middle School students on your new book collection!
