I am so proud of LAUSD and the charter schools in #AD39 for providing meals to our students and families!
Unfortunately, there are some school districts that do not provide these meals and services to their students. Before #COVID19 #Coronavirus, over 150,000 families were food insecure. Now, more than ever, we must work together to ensure all children continue to receive free school meals. I am so proud to join 24 of my colleagues urging California Governor Gavin Newsom to hold these school districts accountable and ensure students do not go hungry!
