Through a Council directive I initiated with Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell, the City rolled out 300 hand sanitizing stations at bus shelters across Los Angeles. In addition to wearing face coverings and practicing physical distancing, keeping your hands clean is one of the most important ways to help slow the spread of COVID-19. This is especially important for the Northeast San Fernando Valley as the Van Nuys corridor is home of one of the highest bus ridership in the region.
